Junior Official Certification is for anybody that is between the ages of 14 and 18 who wishes to officiate lacrosse games. It is recommended that junior officials only officiate youth games for players that are at least two age levels below their age.

DownloadTo officiate boy's lacrosse, you must be at least 18 years old and be a member of a lacrosse officials association and USA Lacrosse. If you aspire to officiate High School lacrosse, you must join the Florida High School Athletic Association as an official. The cost to join our local association is $50.00 per year.

USA Lacrosse membership annual dues are $30.00 - $55.00 per year depending on age. This provides you with training and testing materials as well as insurance coverage while performing officiating duties. Click on the link below to join or renew. https://membership.usalacrosse.com When prompted, join or renew as an "Adult" and choose the First Coast Lacrosse Officials Association as your local official's association. After joining or renewing, you must call USA Lacrosse membership and have them update your status to "Official." Call 410-235-6882, ext. #102 Once this is done you will have access to the training and testing materials.
To officiate boy's Junior Varsity and Varsity contests, you must join the Florida High School Athletic Association as an official and pass a written exam. To join, click the link below and follow the instructions. The cost to join FHSAA is $46.00 per season.
